At J.M.R. Electric Ltd., I assisted the Senior Project Manager on the $104M Grand River Transit Bus Maintenance Facility in Waterloo, supporting the delivery of the mechanical scope valued at approximately $14 million. This included HVAC, plumbing, exhaust, and compressed air systems for the 305,000 sq. ft. transit infrastructure. My responsibilities involved coordinating with trades, tracking progress, managing documentation (RFIs, submittals, change orders), and assisting Senior Project Managers with procurement and commissioning—gaining hands-on experience in large-scale mechanical construction within a fast-paced public sector environment.
